Tigers,
Congratulations everyone on a fantastic Taree Training Camp and Regatta for 2011.  BRC certainly managed to show the other clubs what the Tiger Spirit is all about!  The full results will be available at the Rowing NSW site soon here, but there were some brilliant highlights including the junior girls winning their 2x on the first day, the Men's 8+ races, and James' 10 wins out of 10 races entered.  However, across the board the entire club did BRC proud, and each an every member should be very happy with their achievements over the week...

I tried to write a special thank-you to everyone who helped out at the camp, but after including nearly every person that attended I realised that there were so many people doing so many things that I simply would not be able to give everyone a fair mention that way! So without detracting from the help that was given by others, I would like to single out Marissa and Rolanda for their amazing efforts feeding the whole camp, Anne and Barbara for the shirts, Peter for the running repairs and for towing the speedboats, Alanna for her medical assistance, all the part-time coaches for their coaching and both Ian and James for their leadership during the regatta, and of course Ron for his stellar effort and expertise in attending the camp, coaching every session, and passing on the knowledge required to take each rower's skill to a new level.

To everyone else who attended the camp and the regatta, thankyou for making it such an enjoyable and successful week!  Your club spirit and determination both made the week incredibly enjoyable and personally, immensely satisfying to see it all go so well.  I'm sure this momentum will continue to show through at training and bring even better results in the business end of the season!

See you at the club!
