We do not have any catering services, we only hire the hall-space itself. We do however have a list of recommendations for caterers. Please email Polly for more details.

When can I gain access for setting up?

The key will be given to you at 10am on the day of your hire in return for a fully refundable $500 cash deposit.

When am I required to return the Key?

You are required to return the key by 9.30am the next morning, unless prior arrangements have been made.

Am I required to clean the hall?

As a general rule you are required to clean the hall and leave it as you found it before you return the key, if you are paying the standard hirer’s fee. A vacuum cleaner and some cleaning material is provided for this. If you fail to do so, it will result in a charge being levied against the key deposit. BRC will clean the hall if arrangements are made prior to the function and an agreed fee is paid.

Am I required to remove my rubbish?

As part of the hire you are provided two wheelie 'otto' bins that you can use for your rubbish - additional bins can be paid for at $50 each, however this arrangement must be made prior to the booking. Bins must be placed out on the kerb the morning after the hire. You must remove all other rubbish from the premises after your function. No other rubbish at all is to be left on the kerb side.

We do not provide any plates or glasses. The hirer is required to provide any plates, glassware and cutlery required. All the Items provided by BRC are listed on the Hall Hirer’s contract.

Does the hall have water views?

The hall is an absolute waterfront venue with unobstructed water views toward the west of Sydney Harbour. Though we do not have views of the city the club looks out to Cockatoo Island, with Lane Cove and Gladesville in the background.

Can I decorate the walls and the structure of the hall?

You are able to put up any non-permanent /non-marking decorations inside the hall, provided that all fixings tape, blu-tak, etc are removed at the end of the function. Please be particularly careful of the honour boards on the walls covered by the curtains when putting up decorations.

How much noise am I allowed to make?
