Michael Ernest Chapman
 

Michael Ernest Chapman has had an active rowing career, having won all his maiden and junior races. He has on several occasions represented Balmain in senior events, but without success until last Saturday, when he filled the bow seat in the winning B.R.C. eight. Apart from being a committeeman of long standing, he is vice captain of B.R.C., and in that capacity has rendered the club valuable service, especially on successfully coaching the maiden and junior crews. In fact, Balmain’s position as leaders in the junior pennant is in no small measure due to his efforts.
