On the Balmain and Rozelle peninsula, Sydney's best kept secret for weddings, receptions, conferences and premium events sits on the water’s edge at Balmain’s iconic Elkington Park.

This 141-year-old boathouse hall is now a dedicated wedding venue, function space and conference venue.

Absolute waterfront, heritage design and modern comforts

Combining classic heritage features with modern amenities, this stunning boat house hall and adjoining deck and veranda will give your guests sparkling, uninterrupted water views of Cockatoo Island, Spectacle Island and the Hunters Hill foreshore beyond.

The restored and spacious Balmain boathouse is the perfect wedding venue for receptions, corporate events, fundraisers, functions and private parties.

An elegant event space to make your own

We do not commit you to any caterer or equipment hire company. This means you have freedom to tailor the space to fit your wedding or function, including choosing your own catering service and deciding on your own décor. This flexibility makes Balmain Rowing Club almost unique amongst waterfront/harbourside wedding venues.
