The committee would like to announce that Sydney Secondary College Balmain Campus (the local high school) is about to recommence a learn to row program with BRC. The program will cater for up to 15 year 8 to 10 students and will be run in the second and third term of this year. The program will be conducted within the regular school sports period so should not effect the general membership. It is hoped that over time these students will be able to attend Schools rowing events under their school banner and become full junior club members in the near future. Balmain Rowing Club already has a number of successful members that have attended the school and several year 8 boys have just completed the latest BRC beginner program so this seams like a natural progression and fit.
