Congratulations to our own Jeremy McGrath and the Aussie crew, Kate Murdoch, Davinia Lefroy, Brock Ingram and Jo Burnand. They fought all the way down the course in their repechage, moving from second to third then back to second behind Canada but in the final 250 metres South Africa overtook them to claim their spot in the A final and a chance for a medal. The Aussies took some consolation in winning their B final. A fantastic effort by the first time Paralympians, a crew that primarily trained from opposite ends of the country and came together only weeks before the Paralympic qualification regatta in April.
