To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Armistice day, members of Balmain Rowing club gathered in the club house to show their respects and to remember our oarsmen who enlisted during WWI. As a unique tribute, surviving war time letters written by our oarsman in the Expeditionary Forces, were read by our Captain, President, Treasurer and member Peter Allsopp. This was followed by the traditional reading of the Ode and a minute silence.
