Balmain Rowing Club held its AGM on Sunday 3 August at 11am. Time to celebrate the achievements of our rowers and thank our committee members and volunteers for the wonderfull work they do..

Thanks to club funds and generous contributions from our members the club purchase 3 new boats this year which were named in a ceremony following the meeting.

Polly Pickles

A quad named after much loved member Polly who sadly passed away this year. The boat was purchases with funds generously bequeathed by Polly's estate. Polly's husband, Peter did the honours.

Maria O'Connor

Hudson Women's eight, named after our long standing Club Secretary.

Purchased with member contributions and clubs funds.

Mark Thompson Hudson Men's eight, named after our long standing Club Treasurer.

Purchased with clubs funds and member contributions.

May Agnew Trophy for most competitive female member who race in the most RNSW events

Jeremy McGrath Award for highest point score by a para rower competing in RNSW events

Graham Gardiner Award for best performance by a Coxswain.
