Sunday 25 October, a beautiful morning and much excitement on the pontoon for the official naming of the new additions to the BRC fleet.

'Louella May' and 'Aleksandra Maria', a brand new double and single respectively named after Louella Oswald and Alex Krawczyk in recognition of their vital contribution to the running of the hall hire. The hall hire business has gone from strength to strength and provides a significant income to the club and valuable extra funds for things like new boats.

'Pepper' (lightly used) named after Kimberley Bassett's dog in acknowledgment of a generous donation she made to the club. and 'Big Cat' a single (used) for 90kg rowers.

'Epimoni' and 'Live and Let Die', private boats for Phillippa Spork and James Bond. No confusion there.

Thanks to Michael MacCormick for organising the scones!
